Vitamin C Liquid Peel || Skincare Saviour of the Month

I have been dying to use the Vitamin C Glow Revealing Liquid Peel for a little while now. but just haven’t gotten around to buying. My nan, being the star that she is, ended up getting it for me for my birthday. It’s now my skincare saviour of the month.

Vitamin C is great for brightening your skin and The Body Shop do an extensive range of Vitamin C products. The Glow Revealing Liquid Peel is meant to target any pollutants that have been left on your skin after you’ve cleansed your face. The peel is meant to help your face have a health glow.

You’re meant to use this once you’ve cleansed your face. You take two pumps of the liquid and then apply it to your face. After rubbing the liquid on your skin for a short while, you should start to feel small bits come off of your face. It may sound a little gross but it means it’s working. Once that’s happened, I just rinse off all of the bits with a hot flannel. This isn’t a product that you’re meant to use every day, The Body Shop says to use it 2-3 times a week which I think is more than enough.

I’m in love with this peel! The fact that you get those little bits coming off your face makes my face feel so much cleaner afterwards. It’s left my face looking visibly brighter which is great if I’ve been feeling quite run down. Not only that but it leaves my skin feeling amazing. My skin is so smooth and soft afterwards. You can tell after just one use how much of a difference it’s making. I couldn’t believe how much was coming off of my face but I’m so glad that I started using it.

This is definitely a product that I am going to be using again. There’s no doubt about it. It’s made such a difference to my face. It’s now a firm favourite in my skin care routine. You can buy the peel from The Body Shop here.

This is so so good! I love using it before doing a mask so that my skin is ready! Something else I do is add it to my pedicure routine- it’s so good at taking off the hard/dead skin from the bottom of my feet with minimal effort!

I’ve never thought of using it for feet but I could definitely see it working! Might have to try that out! x
