So, on our second day at Disneyland Paris we had booked Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show for 9:30PM. It’s a live show in an arena whilst your being served Texan food. I thought I would share a little review with you guys and let you know what I thought of it.
You can either buy category one or category two tickets. Category one ticket will make sure that you’re sitting directly facing the show. Category two tickets mean that you’ll be one the edge of the arena. We ended up buying the category two tickets because they were a little cheaper. To be honest, I didn’t feel like I had lost anything by sitting on the sides. I could see everything quite clearly. Sure, you might be facing everything head on but it didn’t really bother me. So, as long as you’re okay with that, I personally wouldn’t see the point in buying category one tickets.
The food there was nothing special. I don’t think there’s another way to put it. I was a massive fan of the cornbread that we had waiting for us under a metal bowl when we had walked it. The waiters then came around and spooned chilli into the bowls which I wasn’t a huge fan of. However, it probably was the best part of the meal. It was just a little to runny for my liking. The next part of the meal included some roast chicken, a couple of potatoes and a few other bits of meat. I only ended up eating the chicken and potatoes which were okay. Dessert was then some ice cream and apple crumble. I’m not a huge fan of apple crumble but I did give it a try and the ice cream was lovely.
I knew from reading reviews that the food wasn’t going to be amazing but everyone raved about the actual show. I wasn’t a massive fan of it though. For me, my conscious didn’t really seem to sit well with the way that they were treating the animals. The way they were making the horses lay down an the buffalos run in certain directions. It made me feel rather uncomfortable to be honest with you. Not only that but you could tell that a lot of the tricks that the cowboys were doing weren’t real which was a little gutting to be honest.
Overall, it was an okay night but it’s not something that I would want to do again. I didn’t think it was worth the money that we paid for it was all.
If you have gone to this show then I would love to hear what your thoughts are on it!
