Review: TIGI S-Factor Body Booster

If there’s one thing I love, it’s having some volume in my hair. Over the past few months, my hair gotten pretty thick but part of the problem that I have with it, is that it basically dries straight and I end up with flat hair. Don’t get me wrong, having straight her is a blessing a lot of the time because I rarely ever straighten it but I love having massive, poofy hair!

So, when I was on the hunt for a volumising spray to use in my hair when I was drying it, the one that was popping up was TIGI’s S-Factor Body Booster. I’ve used products from TIGI before and I knew that it was a brand that I liked, so after reading some reviews and reading up on the product, I decided to take the plunge and buy it.

“TIGI S-Factor Body Booster is a plumping spray to uplift and energise roots and leave hair voluminous and full of radiance. It’s lightweight, yet powerful formula is infused with hydrolyzed wheat protein and UV filters to protect the hair from damage caused by heat styling tools and reduce effects of humidity, giving locks a smoother appearance. Experience hair that is moveable and healthy-looking with added bounce and enhanced shine.”
The bottle hold about 200ml of the spray and for me, know that it’s going to last a little whilst since I don’t have to use a huge amount on my hair and I wouldn’t recommend that you use a lot of it as it can leave your hair feeling a little matted and spray from a distance. The smell of the spray immediately reminded me of the smell of Calpol which isn’t the nicest smell in the world but it doesn’t particularly bother me and it’s not a small that stays after it’s been sprayed.

I don’t find that the spray does a lot for me in terms of humidity but I’m not particularly bothered by that since it wasn’t what I bought for. What it does do though, is make my hair feel like it has a lot more bounce and left it with a healthy shine. I loved the volume and bounce it gave my hair, even though my hair is longer than usual it still gives a good amount of volume that stops it from looking limp.

I’ve been in love with my hair ever since I’ve stared to use this spray and I’m not planning on swapping it for anything. I really would recommend this for anyone who wants a lightweight spray that’ll give your hair some more life.
