February Reads

I’ve actually been quite impressed with the amount that I was able to read in February. With half term stuck in the middle of the month, I think it helped me to push forward in my reading challenge and continue with a series that I had started in the middle of last year as well as starting a new series that has been waiting on my tablet for quite some time. Regardless, it was nice to take some time out from school and get through a fair few books. So, here’s what I ended up reading!

Snow Like Ashes by Sara Raasch

This book had been sitting on my tablet for so long. For some reason I hadn’t managed to get around to reading it until last and I wish that I had picked it up sooner. I feel in love with this book after the first chapter and as the booked carried on moving, all I could think was that I didn’t want it to end. Snow Like Ashes was such a beautifully crafted book. I loved the way Raasch had built up this entirely new world and how I managed to get to know the characters and fall in love with them in a matter of chapter. I’m so excited to read the next book in this series!

The Elite by Kiera Cass & The One by Kiera Cass

The Elite and The One are the second and third book in The Selection Series by Kiera Cass. I absolutely loved the the first book when I read it last year. So, I read it again this year before I finally moved on to the next two books in the series and if possible, i fell even more in love with the series. I love the character progression and I was on tender hooks at the end of The Elite to find out what was going to happen to everyone. I read these books back to back and managed to finish The One within the same day that I had started it. Even though I’m going to take a little break from the series so that I can get through some of the other books that are in my TBR pile at the moment, I am eagerly waiting to start book number four!

What have you guys been reading over February? Anything that you would recommend?
