September Reads

With school starting back, I haven’t had the chance to read as much as I wanted to but the two books I did get around to reading I absolutely loved and I had to share with you guys! So, here are my September reads!
Me Before You by Jojo Moyes
After what felt like a slightly slow start, I could not get enough of this book. I quickly got attached to all the character and I would wake up in the mornings needing to know what happened next. I’m the type of person that has to read the book before I watch the movie and after I was brought to tears at the end of the book, I know I’ll be an absolute mess when I get the DVD. If you’re looking for a book that you can have a good cry to and that’s going to stay with you long after you put it down then this is definitely one that I would pick up.
Everything Everything by Nicola Yoon
Everything Everything was the second book I read in September and I managed to devour the book in two sittings. It’s been so long since I have loved a book this much but it was amazing! The character growth was amazing to read through and be a part of. I didn’t expect the majority of things that happened in the book which made it that little bit more enjoyable for me. There’s nothing I could fault within Yoon’s writing. She did such a fantastic job at character development and although there were a few more things that I would have loved to have known after finishing the book. However, I did like where she left it off. I was realistic and I got the chance to create my own ending. Nicola Yoon is definitely an author that I’ll be picking up again!
Those are all my books for September but I’m hoping that October will bring me more books that are just as great.
What did you guys read in September and what are you currently reading?
xoxo,
